Danish Teak Desk, Henning Jorgensen, 1960s

This desk is a masterful example of mid-century Danish design. Designed by Henning Jensen for the prestigious manufacturer Fredericia Stolefabrik, the piece is crafted entirely from teak wood with a warm, deep grain. Its architecture is distinguished by a beveled-edge top that appears to levitate above two suspended modules.

 The main front features four drawers equipped with organic, solid wood carved pulls and original locks, while the back offers two spacious open storage shelves, allowing the desk to function as a freestanding piece in the center of a room.
