Turquoise Sommerso Organic Vase

Free-standing designer vase handmade in solid Murano glass by the firm Vetreria Artistica Oball. The piece is executed using the traditional Sommerso technique, which layers molten glass of different shades.

 It features a central core in translucent turquoise or cerulean blue, suspended within a thick exterior structure of clear glass with a contoured organic silhouette. A heavy piece with a flat polished base that creates interesting reflections and light refractions depending on the ambient lighting.
