Stilnovo Nido Suspension Lamp

This luminaire is a synthesis of mid-century Italian rationalism. Its structure is defined by a vertical axis in polished brass from which emerge three arms cradling spheres of blown opal glass.

The design stands out for the detail of the brass bands that wrap around the equator of each sphere, a technical solution that not only secures the glass but also accentuates the piece's horizontality. When turned on, the opal glass acts as a perfect diffuser, projecting a warm, uniform light without harsh shadows.
