Pair of Monumental Murano Filigree Decanters

Pair of large-format liquor bottles handmade in Murano glass. The pieces stand out for the Mezza Filigrana technique, which creates a subtle and sophisticated lattice of white glass threads twisted in a spiral along the entire body and their matching spherical stoppers.

The stem or lower knot features a fluted carving with interior gold leaf inclusions. As a functional and design detail, both pieces are differentiated by a fine colored cord applied hot to the rims, bases, and top finials: one in a coral red tone and the other in cobalt blue.
