Spode Imari Porcelain Cylindrical Paperweight

This freestanding cylindrical paperweight has been crafted from fine bone china by the historic English manufacturer Spode, one of the most revered tableware and ceramic firms in the world since the 18th century.

The piece exhibits a profuse and masterful ornamentation inspired by the celebrated "Imari" style, where a rich palette of cauldron orange tones, floral motifs in antique rose, and sage green foliage coexist impeccably, set against a background of geometric lattice in deep cobalt blue. The entire contour and its domed top are meticulously outlined and enhanced with intricate details in pure gold. At the base, the piece is finished with a refined gilded metal counterweight engraved with the Spode signature.
