Porcelain gravy boat and plate with gold and pink rims

French opaque porcelain gravy boat and platter, transfer-decorated with a classic pink border and gold details. These pieces were distributed by Brigwood & Son (Longton, Staffordshire) in the late 19th century.

The gravy boat features a deep body and curved handles on the sides. Its lid incorporates an elegantly designed handle and small side openings for spoons. The platter, in the same decorative style, also features curved handles that complete the harmony of the set.
